Manchester Volunteer Managers Network

15:30 - 17:00 Tuesday July 10th 2012
Manchester, UK

With apologies for the slightly-longer-than-expected hiatus, MVMN is back with its second meeting!

MVMN aims to provide an informal network for people working in volunteer management to come and chat, share ideas, best practice, tips and suggestions.

It's a member-led group so there's no agenda imposed on it - if someone wants to speak about it, then we long as there's time, cos we volunteer managers do like to talk!

The network runs on no budget, so all you'll need is a bit of money for a tea/coffee/drink of your choice at the venue...and an open and inquisitive mind, of course.  Please do contact me if you have any questions at all and/or to let me know if you can make it, just so I can make sure there's enough space:-)

Also, please let me know if there's anything particular you'd like to discuss and then we can let other attendees know to get the cogs whirring about that subject!  Have already had one request to talk a bit about evaluation and the techniques/systems that people use.

The venue for this time will be North Star Piccadilly, 77 Dale Street, Manchester, M1 2HG.  It's very close to the train station and there's also plenty of car parking nearby.  There's a map of it here

As the event is informal, feel free to pop in at any time, although this café closes at 5, so will have to wrap up by then (I think it overran slightly last time...), but can always pop to another nearby café (or even my office!) if there's a discussion that needs finishing:-)

Hopefully see you there, and make sure to spread the word!
