Truro, Cornwall

Important: No more volunteers are currently required for this opportunity.

Singing for the Brain® Volunteer

Music helps to create environments in which people with dementia can express positive feelings and emotions.

Singing for the Brain® is a fun, stimulating and social activity for people with memory problems or in the early to moderate stages of dementia and their carers.

By becoming a volunteer at Singing for the Brain® you will be aiding the leader in the delivery of the singing programme, supporting people with dementia and their carers to interact socially and encouraging all who attend to participate as fully as possible.

Alzheimer’s Society welcomes applications from passionate, motivated and committed people from all sectors of the community. A willingness to participate is essential; having a good singing voice is not!

By volunteering you will make a positive difference to those affected by dementia.

Truro Singing for the Brain runs from 2pm - 4pm every Tuesday at All Saints Church Hall, Highertown Truro, TR1 3LD
