Does Local Democracy Week really make a difference to young people?
Local Democracy Week, formally an LGA initiative (they still have it on their site but no longer resource any staff to support / promote it) takes place across the country in the third week of October every year, aiming to bring young people and councillors together.
BUT..... how much does this national week of action actually change the lives of young people, make them more likely to vote or encourage Cllrs to speak to young people in their constituency?
Not sure why this posted twice...

Good point Em, and made me realise we have no 'youth' tag! Have added one, any others we're missing?
