Volunteers' Week is an annual campaign managed by Volunteering England.

Traditionally, it has celebrated the fantastic contribution that millions of volunteers make across the UK and aimed to inspire more people to donate time to their communities.

Up and down the country, individuals and organisations hold events to do this, with Volunteering England promoting all their great work.

But is this the right approach? Should Volunteers' Week be a celebration? Or should it be a campaign to highlight the central role of volunteering to the running of the country? Is it an opportunity to try and increase funding for volunteering?

The fact is, we're just not sure. So it's over to you...
