Volunteering in a Digital Age - annual volunteering conference in Wales

       Aims of the conference:

  • To demonstrate the use of digital technology in relation to volunteering
  • To provide guidance on organisational use of social media, including managing risks
  • To inspire  and equip volunteer managers and others to develop their use of digital technology in the context of their work
  • To promote and encourage the involvement of volunteers in addressing digital inclusion

      Target participants:

  • Managers, staff and volunteers from volunteer-involving organisations, including those with responsibility for volunteers or volunteer programmes
  • Managers and staff from infrastructure organisations (Volunteer Centres and County Voluntary Councils) who work with volunteers or volunteer involving organisations
  • Volunteers with interest in taking on or developing volunteer roles that include the use of digital media
  • Those who have an interest in technological developments to support volunteering
