Age Concern in Brighton & Hove exists to give high quality free confidential information and advice to older people, encouraging them to make their own decisions and to act for themselves wherever possible. It aims to enable and empower people to make informed choices and to equip them to gain access to rights and services

Administrative Assistant
Administrative Assistants will be based in our Information & Advice Service and will: answer telephones; take and record messages; prepare minutes of meetings; do filing; and photocopy and compile documents. More details
Advice and Information Worker
We advise people over 50 on a range of different issues, such as welfare benefits. We need volunteers to provide either individual advice at our Prestonville Road office or to deliver an outreach service to other parts of the city. More details
Counsellor
Volunteer Counsellor to work with up to 2 clients per week and make home visits if necessary. Attend fortnightly group supervision (free) and occasional team meetings. More details
IT Drop-in-Centre Assistant
We have a popular IT drop-in-centre where the over 50's can come and learn about computers, emails and the internet in a friendly and relaxed atmosphere. If you have basic all-round skills why not join our volunteer team and help our visitors? More details
