Voice for Volunteers needs a volunteer fundraiser - can you help?

Voice for Volunteers is a central London based committee ad we're looking for someone to take a lead with helping to raise sponsorship/funds for the first National Conference for Volunteers event planned for late 2010. We are a supportive friendly team working through the Red Foundation and supported by their i-volunteer social network. Previous sponsorship/fundraising experience necessary and good presentation skills helpful. This is an unpaid voluntary post but with basic expenses paid.

Project Description
Voice for Volunteers will be the first National Conference for Volunteers which is being run through the Red Foundation and supported by their i-volunteer social network A new conference planned for central London for late 2010 it will be the first time in this country that volunteers of all ages and from all sectors will have the opportunity to meet, debate issues and celebrate experiences that matter to them. The event is being planned for 200 attendees. The day will be free to those attending and help with travel costs will be offered to people living outside the capital to attend. Video or webcast content will be available to those who cannot attend.
